Have You Had You Poo Today?
Nah! Don’t wanna.
Can’t be bothered.
Why would you want to carry THAT around all day?
Sometimes you just gotta let things go!!!
Did you hear that story about the two monks walking through a very busy city in China? Thousands of people, rickshaws, cars, everywhere. It had been raining and there were HUGE puddles on the roads and walkways. They passed by a very wealthy lady sitting in her rickshaw, her servants standing holding all ALL her packages – with no hands left to assist her off the rickshaw, and over a deep puddle, completely surrounding the rickshaw.
The older monk, sized it all up, went through the puddle, lifted the lady out of the rickshaw and on to dry land. She flinched herself, stuck her nose high and scuffled off.
The two moved through the crowds and out of the city.
Until the young monk had had enough! He spoke loudly and angrily at the old monk.
“What did you do that for?”
“We do NOT touch woman”
“And, she was MOST ungrateful – even nasty to you!!!”
The old monk walked a few steps, then, slowly, and softly replied
“I put her down several miles back”
Fill in the words...
Have you had your poo today?
Have You Had Your Poo Today?
Bit sluggish today…
Oh well, sometimes we HAVE to MAKE things happen...
An old lady told me once, she was like clockwork, cause she added to the mix.
She started her day with a warm glass of water with a little lemon juice.
It actually neutralises the body as well as assist the body to ‘do its thing’.
When I was young I used to think "old" people were a
Boring – what ever!
Telling us a "what to do", "lecturing"… on and on...
However, there WAS heaps I wanted to know…
I guess what I could’ve done was ask...
And now thinking about it
I would’ve liked to have them tell me a story…
That could/would’ve been interesting…
Way into my ripened years, I wanted to know what is was like for my mum
As a child
As a teenager
As a young mother
I booked a flight home to have this conversation.
She died two weeks before I arrived
